AND IN ORDER TO PARTAKE OF IT YOU HAVE TO COME OUT AND HEAR IT AND SEE IT…..YOU GOT SEE THE VISUAL PART BECAUSE WE DRESS MUSICALLY AND WE MOVE MUSICALLY" - SUN RA Oct 19, 1984 For those, who like myself, did not have the pleasure of seeing them live, film footage is the closest we can get to experiencing the full 'cosmo drama' that was Sun Ra and the Arkestra performing in concert. Many of us seek out and collect this material, as well as the live tapes and Saturn recordings of course, as part of our on- going appreciation of his music. Here then is my attempt to list all known footage, from all different sources, to act as a reference for fans old and new. I hope this will encourage more research in this area, and maybe more material will be discovered.
