With some of N.J. finest dancers.
Caught the bus at 11:30 PM
I arrived home safe in Long Branch
Crawled over a roof to my room
Happy, still singing the blues!
And there it
all was again
The band playing and
Whoopie singing the blues.

Bruce Springstein in his early days
When he lived in Freehold, N.J.
I later travelled
in Bruce Springstein's bus
While at the Amnesty International Concert, 1989.
He was taken aback to learn that Grammy Trudy
On his bus, had discovered him in Asbury Park
When he first started so very long ago
The Connecticut
chapter continued with visits to my
grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as my
two daughters who live in the area.
The range of
ages is staggering!
A great grandchild in college,
Two grandchildren in beautiful homes,
Two more great grandchildren.
Two great grandchildren are close friends
Of the two grandchildren
My daughter and grandchild almost the same age!
If one finds
this confusing
How I function in this mysterious vortex
Six children, 20 grandchildren and 3 greats
Total miracle to me!
These relationships are one huge
Patch work quilt, three generations
Woven somehow into one big family
My place in all of this is rather puzzling
A glorious weekend
in Vermont, Smuggler's Notch
Activities for the great grandchildren, and their father
Snowboarding and snow mobile rides, favorites
The Fun House, tube riding, hot tubs, swimming
Ice skating all there for parents and children
And what does
a great grandmother
Do in this extraordinary resort
Dedicated to Family Fun?
First, it was
a very delightful condo
With my usual couch in a very large living room
TV. The programs were highlighted by Ramsey
Clark, journalist from Time,
Hussein Hassad interviewed by Dan Rather

Amidst the glorious

I started the morning with an outdoor swim
And exercise session in an outdoor pool
Connected with our condo. That was really glorious.
A short session on snow shoes was the other highlight

I had a successful bout
with cold weather

on the streets

On a beautiful visit with my family?
