JS loves music
Had bands from an early age
In college, a wise professor
Suggested he get a law degree
It was so easy and never stopped
Him from his love of music
He writes poetry when joyful
We seldom communicate by E-mail
We think of each other always
We love each other deeply
We meet and feel our bondage
He became a lawyer because
He loved Justice for all people
He helped all kinds of musicians
In and out of the music business
He found me on the Jazz circuit
Always performing poetry
With the Jazz Greats
Cecil Taylor and Sun Ra Arkestra
And all their musical family
