In Tajikistan 6 years ago, I got to hear a rehearsal of a 1000 year old musical form shashmaquam. I went in sick and left feeling well. I asked the director about that. He said he is never sick. If he feels ill, he puts on a shashmaquam tape and within an hour he is well. I would like to hear more info about sacred music. We use music and breathing to enter an altered state for holotropic breathwork healing. By the way, I'm going back to Taos for more breathwork two weeks from now.

Dear Gilah,
I got some great news this week. In May I had a physical and the doctor noticed an imbalance in my white blood cells. He thought it might indicate CLL, chronic lymphocytic leukemia. He wanted me to come back and check it in a year. A year! I said three months. I had blood drawn last week, and the numbers came back normal. What a relief and cause for gratitude and celebration! I have a great life.
